Founder & head coach
Boxing coach · Level 2
A life devoted to boxing since 1984. After his years as an athlete, he qualified as a coach, holding a Level 2 boxing coaching certificate, and built his career around educational boxing, passing on not just technique but the values of the sport. He has wide experience working the corner for well-known boxers, both in Portugal and internationally.

A Level 1 boxing coach, he holds a degree in Sports Science and is completing a Master's in High-Performance Sports Training. With 40 bouts on his record as a competitive boxer, boxing has been part of his life since childhood, thanks to his father. His passion for teaching started early: at 15 he was already helping to coach beginners.

A Level 1 boxing coach with a degree in Sports Science, she is currently studying for a Master's in Teaching and leads our kids' classes. With competitive boxing experience and a strong background in gymnastics, her coaching goes well beyond combat sports. Her main goal is to use boxing as an educational tool, making sure your child grows and develops fully, physically, cognitively and psychologically, in a safe and structured environment.

Do I need any experience?
No. We start with the basics (stance, footwork and punches) and progress at your pace.
Will I get hit?
No. In educational boxing contact is controlled and the goal is never to hurt your partner. Violent behaviour is not accepted.
What's the minimum age?
Anyone aged 6 and over, with no upper age limit, and dedicated classes for kids.
What should I bring?
Comfortable sportswear, trainers and a water bottle. If you have them, also bring gloves, hand wraps, a skipping rope, a headguard and a mouthguard.
How much does it cost to start?
Plans start at €40/month and class packs at €50 (4 classes). New members pay a €10 registration fee and €30 annual sports insurance.
How can I pay?
Cash, MB WAY (912 569 460) or bank transfer.
Is it safe for children?
Yes. Kids' classes are led by Joana, who holds a degree in Sports Science, and follow the principles of educational boxing: controlled contact, a focus on technique and zero tolerance for violent behaviour.
Do I need to be a member to train?
No. You can train with a monthly plan or a class pack. Becoming a member (€12/year) is a way to support the club and take part in its life.
